Rancho Nanacatl
We are a regenerative, organic farm & ranch in Popoyo, southern Nicaragua with focus on bringing soil back to life and sharing knowledge.
About Us
Rodrigo & Glynis bought five acres of farm land to start Rancho Nanacatl in 2020.
The name has its origin in Nahuatl which is the language that was spoken by the Nahua, an Aztec tribe who came down from Mexico in the 16th century.
We slowly expanded and our ranch is now 45 acres of pure magic and peace.20 acres of our land is untouched forest on a hill with beautiful, old trees and rivers that flow through the valley. That part we own to simply preserve and protect it.
Adopt a tree
In our reforestation program we give you the possibility to adopt one or more young young trees that will get planted and taken care of at Rancho Nanacatl. Watch your tree grow and one day, in the future enjoy its shade, fruit or flowers depending on what kind of tree you chose to adopt.
